Many of their items are made locally, including handmade jewelry and hand carved knives created by local artists. They also showcase hand carved wooden art, such as signs and mantelpieces.

One of the things they are most known for is their wide selection of huckleberry products. From candy to jam, you’ll be able to enjoy the iconic flavor in a number of ways.

Visitors can also enjoy posing at the “Idaho City Jail” photo booth, allowing you a keepsake to remember your time here in our small town.

Filled with a variety of toys, costumes, and games that enthralled previous generations, this Idaho City toy store is a perfect place to bring the family for a fun time. They have sample toys and games that are available to play with, allowing young ones to enjoy some of the same toys that their parents or grandparents grew up with. The Sluice Box in Idaho City is hands down one of the most unique buildings in all of Idaho, let alone our little town. For years, this location has been a staple of our community, being the premier antique store in town. Aside from being the most photographed spot in town by far, the Sluice Box is a treasure trove, allowing you to find old books, games, jewelry, art and so much more.
